Directors
Sherri Kalishman :: Director of Education
My name is Sherri and I am the Director of Education for Express Training Services. I have been in the medical field for most of my life. My father was an owner/administrator of several health care facilities with on-site training for the employees. When I was a little girl, I used to love going to work with my father and spending time with the residents and staff. The nursing staff treated the residents like they were family. This is how I was introduced to the medical field. At the time, there was little turnover in the health care field. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I received my BSN at Binghamton University in 1986. During the course of my career as a registered nurse, I have worked in various acute and long-term care settings. I especially enjoy teaching entry level health care workers and providing them with the loving environment that my mentors provided for me. I am very focused on leading with example at Express Training. Being able to provide quality education in an ever changing health care environment is a challenging and rewarding experience for all of us. The result is, not only assisting adult learners to make the first step into the medical field, but encouraging them to embrace their career choice and realize their goals.
Tony Kalishman :: Director of Admissions
I'm Tony Kalishman, and I'm the co-owner of Express Training Services. All my life I wanted to own my own business, but never knew what business I wanted to own. After living by myself and working for others for 35 years, all of a sudden everything changed. Just a few years later, I am very happily married to Sherri, have 4 wonderful kids, and a great job. It is my hope that everyone loves their job as much as I love mine. We're successful and have helped over 6,000 people change their lives. How cool is that? Go Gators!
