Are you a medical professional who would like to who would like to learn more about phlebotomy with an introductory class?
Maybe you’d like to take a class that would help you become a nationally certified phlebotomist.
We have two choices; an 8-hour workshop or an 80-hour training program.
Phlebotomy Workshop 
You must meet one of the following qualifications to register:
- Have current medical licensure (RN, LPN, MD, Dentist, ARNP, etc.)
- Have current medical certification (Nurse Aide, CMA, HHA, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Tech, EMT, etc.)
- Be currently enrolled in a school or training program where this will supplement your knowledge in the field (LPN/RN School, Physician’s Assistant School, Nurse Aide class, etc.).
We will need written proof of these qualifications. You can apply on-line or over the phone, but must bring the proof the first day of your class.
This workshop is 8 hours in length and costs $200. The fee includes all supplies and training materials. Check out the schedule or the bulletins at the bottom of the page for class dates, times and locations.

Course Description: This workshop introduces the participant to the theory of phlebotomy, as well as gives the opportunity for hands-on experiences in drawing blood.

- RNs and LPNs will receive 7 hours of continuing education
- Nurse Aides will receive 8 in-service hours

Warning:
Live "sticks" will be done in the class. These sticks include venipunctures and capillary sticks. These sticks will not be done during an externship, but will be done on fellow students and yourself, in a very supervised setting. If you are not comfortable having someone draw your blood, please do not enroll for this class.
